Brenda is a mature, warm hearted, Inuit woman with decades of learning and lived experience, from her early beginnings in the remote Indigenous communities of Labrador and Nunavut, through her studies across Canada and the long journey to her current private practice in beautiful Sydney, Nova Scotia.

A desire for healing for both herself and for all Indigenous peoples led her to the completion of a Master’s Degree with a specialty in Mental Health and to a life long journey of personal growth and support to others on their own healing journeys.

Brenda offers you a place to be heard without judgement, a place to explore your beliefs, your thoughts and your feelings, a place to grow, and most of all, a safe place to heal.

Using a combination of learned techniques and Indigenous teachings, while drawing on her decades of experience, Brenda is a wonderful person to bear witness to your healing journey.
